A Cave and Some Sand

Brian Worley

Christianity received another blow with the Chinese discovery of pottery that dated between 17,500 and 18,300 years old in a cave in southern China. How so you may ask? If you are a Christian that has a reference or study Bible, simply look at the notes of when the dates of those 66 protestant bible books were written. It is a very simple math equation to add our 2009 to the approximate date of the creation that the “5 books of Moses” purports to tell. The Christian scholar Bishop Ussher was precise in his views that creation took place in 4004 BC.

The Christian view is that the earth is approximately 6,000 years old. This has to be an embarrassment to sincere Christian people that desire respect in the intellectual department. There is no stretching here, just look up what Bishop James Ussher wrote wrote and do the math yourself. Surely you don't believe that your God of the Bible created that cave with a human piece of pottery within it do you??? If not, then that pottery piece was placed there by a human being within the given timeframe. It is another piece of crushing evidence showing that the Bible and it's Christianity isn't worthy of anyone's patronage and that the belief that the earth is 6,000 years old is absurd.

Dear Christian, you are smarter than this and we secularists ask you to come and join the rest of us in building our world on something other than old literature like the Bible! Hopefully, the discovery of the cave will help believers get their heads “out of the sand!”
